Phone numbers abroad

Pick a country. Rent a number there.

Rent a real phone number in another country. Read the texts sent to it in your Xpress-eSIM dashboard, forward its calls to the phone in your pocket, and keep it for as long as you pay for it.

These are rented numbers, not SIM cards, and some services refuse them on purpose. What works and what does not is listed below the search, in plain words, before you pay.

  • Texts in your dashboard
  • Calls to your own phone
  • Pay from your wallet

What these numbers work with

A rented number is a real, working phone number, but it is not a SIM card in a handset. Some services check for that and refuse. Here is the honest split.

Works

  • Receiving texts and reading them here
  • Taking calls, forwarded to your own phone
  • Signing up to most websites and marketplaces
  • Delivery, ride-hailing and food apps
  • A separate number for work, selling or travel

Often refused

  • WhatsApp. It blocks rented numbers on purpose, and a code arriving does not mean it will accept the number.
  • Telegram and some other messaging apps
  • Banks and most financial apps
  • Sending texts to US numbers, until our carrier registration completes

If a service refuses your number in the first 24 hours, email support@xpressesim.com and we will refund it.

How it works

Three steps from browsing to receiving your first message.

01
Choose a number

Search by country and type, and see the exact numbers available right now with the price per month.

02
Pay your way

Use your wallet balance or any payment method already on the site. The number is reserved for you once payment clears.

03
Start receiving

Messages land in your dashboard and inbox, and calls ring the phone you nominate. Renew, extend or release whenever you like.

A rented number suits business calls, travel and keeping your personal number private. Many apps and websites reject numbers that are not tied to a physical SIM, so verification codes cannot be guaranteed. Please check with the service before you buy a number for that purpose.
